Give Now

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Waldorf Lutheran College Foundation.  We offer several giving opportunities which allow you to support the program that best matches your charitable interests.  Our top giving priorities include:

Scholarships

Annually-Funded Scholarships

  • Waldorf Foundation Grant – – Anyone who wishes to contribute a gift of any amount to a general fund for scholarships can donate to this fund. These scholarships will be awarded at Honors Day or to incoming freshmen.
  • Waldorf Faculty/Staff Scholarship Fund – This is a new fund allowing donors to honor a current or past employee of Waldorf College. All gifts given to this fund will be pooled together each year and awarded on Honors Day or to incoming freshmen. Donors will be given the opportunity to name the person(s) they are honoring and honorees will be listed under the scholarship name in the Honors Day program and Foundation Web site. In addition, we will contact all living honorees and inform them of the gift in their honor (excluding dollar amount).
  • Named Scholarships – This is the same concept as the Waldorf Foundation Grant except that it can be used to name and/or honor an individual or individuals. A minimum of $300 is required to fund a named scholarship. These scholarships will be awarded on Honors Day or to incoming freshmen.

Campus Ministry

The Waldorf Foundation is committed to providing financial support to enrich the spiritual lives of Waldorf College students, faculty and staff.  Funds are needed for campus ministry programs, campus pastor/intern, mission trips and service projects.

Alumni Relations

Keeping ties to our alumni is important to the Foundation.  Funds designated to alumni relations will be used for regular communication pieces, regional gatherings, alumni events, and alumni board meetings.

Annual Fund

Any unrestricted funds will be used where needed most to support general operating expenses and our three priorities listed above:  scholarships, campus ministry and alumni relations.
