Endowed Named Scholarships
Endowed scholarship gifts allow a donor to create a permanent legacy. A gift of $15,000 or more will fully fund an endowed scholarship, and a donor is allowed 5 years to grow the fund to that amount. No scholarships will be awarded until the fund has reached the $15,000 level and has had one full year to earn interest. The principal remains intact and only the earnings are awarded each year. The donor is entitled to name the scholarship and designate the award criteria.
